The provision for post-graduates new to College is poor, they arrive at different times throughout the year and are usually thrown straight into work. I will initiate a Fresher’s Week for post-graduates not only covering what the Union can do for them but also including important factors such as what support is available from College, accommodation and so on. I have already worked with College on introducing a Post-Graduate Freshers’ Week and there is support for this, I am confident that this can be in place very quickly and help new post-graduates settle in and integrate to the College.
