Ever wanted to get something done in the Union but not known where to start, which committee to go to or how to structure a paper? Even if the advice is a simple as if you want the Union to help you campaign on student issues, write a paper to the Representation and Welfare Board not Council. An Officer Without Portfolio would sit on Council, Exec and other committees with no agenda. An officer who would be available to give advice to everybody and help both experienced and less experienced members of the Union cut through red tape and petty politics.
